As energy prices may rise and unprecedented global temperatures are rising, the Australian Government response is it\u2019s working towards a net-zero 2050 emissions target. On a&nbsp;<strong>25\u00b0C day<\/strong>&nbsp;the external roof temperature&nbsp;<strong>was 53\u00b0C<\/strong>. The other building had a lighter Surfmist\u00ae roof and recorded&nbsp;<strong>45\u00b0C.&nbsp;<\/strong>The heat loads into the metal roof and transfers into the building, pushing up the need for air conditioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The roofs were pressure cleaned and repaired in a day and the Super Therm application was applied the next day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After application with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/neotechcoatings.com\/coating-products\/super-therm-solar-heat-block-coating\/\"><strong>Super Therm<\/strong><\/a>\u00ae on a&nbsp;<strong>27\u00b0 day<\/strong>, the netball clubrooms roof was a very cool&nbsp;<strong>23\u00b0C&nbsp;<\/strong>compared with previous high of 53\u00b0C on the uncoated roof.&nbsp;<strong>This 225% improvement<\/strong>&nbsp;means it was much cooler inside the building as there was a tiny amount of heat loading into the roof space and traditional insulation.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"504\" src=\"https:\/\/neotechcoatings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image005-1024x504.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11626\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"504\" src=\"https:\/\/neotechcoatings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image006-1024x504.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11627\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>University of Adelaide<\/strong>&nbsp;is independently researching data as part of the cool roof trial.
